Matt Tapscott and Claire Jordan Grant started Core Environmental Corporation after years of operating the most successful mold inspection business in the Los Angeles area. When they started their original mold inspection business they were the only mold inspection company listed in the Los Angeles Yellowpages! Their business development, marketing, and systems experience combined to build a company that addressed and satisfied the needs of customers in one of the most demanding markets in the world: the combined areas of Beverly Hills, Malibu and Hollywood. They literally wrote the book on building and running a successful mold inspection business.

Realizing there was a need for professional business tools designed specifically for mold inspection professionals, they formed Core Environmental Corporation with the intent that it become a driving force for innovation and leadership in the mold inspection industry. They achieved this goal by channeling their considerable expertise in the mold inspection business, their commitment to the development of standards and protocols and over twenty five years professional experience in software and information design into Core Environmental Corporation and the development of MoldTech® Mold Inspection Software.

Though their first product, MoldTech® Mold Inspection Software has quickly become the industry standard for mold inspection documentation and reporting, they are, by no means, resting on their laurels. Deborah K. Arce, Chief Operations Officer:
Ms. Arce is a co-founding member of Electralux 3D, LLC, a consulting firm since 1998 servicing new media and internet technology companies with project management and development services. Prior to her work with Core Environmental Corporation, which started in early 2005, she was the Chief Executive Officer of New Frequency Media, Inc. from 2001 - 2005 prior to being the Chief Operations Officer from 2000 to 2001. As the managing member of Electralux 3D, and the Executive Director for all its consulting services, Ms. Arce has overseen the production and development of multimedia projects ranging from Web Development, Video, DVD and CDROM production, to interface design, and 3D animation projects. Ms. Arce received her Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems from DeVry University in 1986. She was the President for the San Francisco Chapter for Women Animation, a non-profit organization, in 1999.

Julie Van Hove, Chief Technology Officer:
Ms. Van Hove is a co-founding member of Electralux 3D, LLC, a consulting firm since 1998 servicing new media and internet technology companies with project management and development services. She came to Core Environmental Corporation in early 2005 with an extensive background in PC and MAC operating system technologies as well as both Pocket-PC and Palm OS experience. She has a wide-range of experience in multimedia development with a specialty in audio and video compression technologies for the internet. She was the Chief Technology Officer of her previously founded company, New Frequency Media, Inc. from 2000 to 2005 and she was Chief Technical Director for Solutions Media, Inc. in 1999 and 2000 where she managed the audio and video departments for SpinRecords.com and SpinTV.com. From 1992 - 1997, she studied 3D Animation and Multimedia at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, California. Ms. Van Hove also has a physics background and has worked as an Engineer at such hi-tech firms in Silicon Valley as Domain Technology, Akashic Memories, HMT Technology and Lawrence Livermore Laboratories.
