Turning off Norton Anti-Virus

Situation:
Norton Anti-Virus "Script-blocking" must be completely turned off (not just disabled) before installing MoldTech® Software on your PC.

Solution:
  1. Go to the Start Menu in Windows XP (the lower left corner of your PC screen)

  2. Select "All Programs"

  3. Select "Norton Anti-Virus"

  4. Norton Anti-Virus will open in a window with two tabs at the top. It opens with the left tab active. This page shows all of the features of Norton's that are currently turned on.

  5. To turn off Script-blocking, click on the "Options" tab. The list of features now includes checkboxes that can be used to turn off/on all of the features.

  6. Click to remove the check next to "Enable Scriptblocking." This will turn off Script-blocking. You should also turn off the check next to "Enable Firewall" if your version of Norton's has this feature.

  7. Close Norton's and install or reinstall MoldTech.

After installing and licensing MoldTech, follow the same steps to turn the checks back on next to "Enable Scriptblocking" and "Enable Firewall."
