When I try to generate a report, I get an "http:500 Internal Server" or "A File Has Been Damaged & Could Not Be Repaired" error.
Situation:
Corrupted photo files, or photo files that are greater than 2 megapixels or 850kb may cause MoldTech to freeze or close out or give various "file damaged" or "http:500" errors. Some digital cameras will also create a corrupt photo file on the last picture taken of a full memory card. You can reduce the size of your current photos by performing the following steps:
Solution:
- Open your existing photos in a photo editor (your camera probably came with a software program that allows you to adjust your photos). Adjust your image size so that it is no larger than 1600 pixels wide X 1200 pixels High at 72 dpi resolution. (Cameras set at the 2 megapixel setting, will take photos already set to this setting.)
- If you try to open your photo in a photo editing program, and the editing program can not open your photo, then your photo file is corrupt. You can not use corrupted photo files to generate a report in MoldTech®.
- For your next inspection, lower the setting on your digital camera to the quality equal to or near the 2 megapixel setting (refer to your camera manual if unsure).
