Photos are not showing up at all when I generate a report.
Situation:
The resolution quality on your digital camera is probably set too high. When taking photos with your digital camera, use the medium quality setting. Photos must be under 2 megapixels or 850kb each to import into MoldTech. You can reduce the size of your current photos by performing the following steps:
Solution:
- Open your existing photos in a photo editor (your camera probably came with a software program that allows you to adjust your photos. If you don't have a graphic program to do this step, click here). Adjust your image size so that it is no larger than 1600 pixels wide X 1200 pixels High at 72 dpi resolution. (Cameras set at the 2 megapixel setting, will take photos already set to this setting.)
- If you try to open your photo in a photo editing program, and the editing program can not open your photo, then your photo file is corrupt. You can not use corrupted photo files to generate a report in MoldTech®.
- For your next inspection, lower the setting on your digital camera to the quality equal to or near the 2 megapixel setting (refer to your camera manual if unsure).
