BEFORE RUNNING ANY SPYWARE CLEANING SOFTWARE READ THIS IMPORTANT INFORMATION.
As spyware becomes more of an issue for PC users, software products designed to "clean" your hardware of spyware are inundating the market. The problem is that many of these "cleaners" arbitrarily remove good applications and support files as well. Running a spyware cleaner can disable MoldTech and remove the operating system components that support it and other Java-based applications.
Even if you don't think you have an anti-spyware program on your computer, always check your program folder for unknown or mysterious applications and uninstall them if you do not want them on your computer. Anti-spyware programs scan your computer in the background and can inadvertently delete, remove or quarantine files that your operating system actually needs in order to function correctly with Java programs.
Trend Micro and Intermute are two known anti-spyware applications that can restrict the use of files needed by Moldtech® and other Java applications residing on your system. If your operating system has been damaged from third-party applications, it is your responsibility to fix your operating system files before trying to run or install MoldTech®.
The following information is provided to you as a courtesy and is a possible solution for getting MoldTech® to run on a computer that has been manipulated by anti-spyware software; however, MoldTech® Technical Support is not responsible for assisting with computers that have operating system problems.
- To check and see if your Java files have been corrupted, go to
http://www.java.com/en/download/installed.jsp
- Verify your Java application is working correctly by pressing the "Verify Installation" button.
- If your browser crashes or you see nothing happening, your Java has been corrupted and your Windows XP software needs to be repaired.
